Patrick Miller graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 2008 with a B.S. degree in Fire and Safety Engineering: Fire Protection Administration. Patrick became a graduate assistant for the Fire and Safety Program and received his M.S. degree in Safety, Security and Emergency management in 2009. While attending Eastern Kentucky University, Patrick worked as a Safety Specialist Intern for an electrical and gas distribution company in Peoria, Illinois. He conducted safety training for electrical line and gas employees, performed accident investigations, and updated the company’s electrical safety manual. Patrick also has experience working as a firefighter and assisting with fire investigations and inspections.

Patrick’s coursework at Eastern Kentucky included construction safety, industrial management, legislation and legal compliance, worker’s compensation, chemistry and dynamics of fire. He has his 30-hour OSHA General Industry and 30-hour OSHA Construction cards.
