This course is designed for employees who oversee a fall protection program or act as the designated competent person for a worksite.
We’ll explain the applicable OSHA fall protection regulations and discuss how to develop a company or site-specific fall protection program. Participants will identify their specific needs for employee training for hazard recognition, duty to have fall protection, wear and care of personal fall arrest equipment and rescue scenarios for an employee suspended by a deployed fall arrest system.
Participants will also conduct a facility audit to assess and develop a fall hazard inventory list. Assessment forms will be provided and an example annual audit template for your fall protection program. Participants will complete the course conducting physical inspections of components of a personal fall arrest system.
