OSHA Required Training for Masonry and Concrete Workers
Masonry and concrete workers have several potential job hazards. Our new class checks the box for three OSHA required trainings for these trades. Our experienced instructors will meet OSHA requirements for the following:
- Silica hazards and engineering controls in (1926.1153)
- Respiratory protection (due to silica exposure (1910.134)
- Scaffold safety (1926.454)
Participants will also learn about specific health and safety concerns in the industry, including personal protective equipment (PPE) and eyewash requirements. The class is geared toward supervisors or workers who want to become a “competent person,” however, it’s beneficial for all workers.
