The consultants at Safex have been hitting the books recently and have several accomplishments to show for it. We’re proud to announce that:
- Beth Angus is now a Certified Industrial Hygienist® (CIH).
The CIH designation is one that fewer than 7,000 people in the world hold. CIHs must possess an academic degree or specific industrial hygiene coursework, 4 years of experience in the field, professional references and candidates must pass a rigorous exam.
- Emily Milford is now a Certified Safety Professional® (CSP)
Certified Safety Professionals also meet stringent educational and testing requirements. It’s considered the gold standard for safety professionals.
- Blair Everett and Kim Shapiro are now Associate Safety Professionals® (ASP).
The Associate Safety Professional designation is a full certification and internationally accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). Candidates must have specific undergraduate and professional safety experience and pass an exam. Many ASPs go on to earn their CSP.
