“What makes Safex different is that they know a one-size-fits-all approach doesn’t work for everyone and they modify their scope of work based on your specific need. The interactions Safex has had with our facilities has been nothing but positive. We’re seeing a new view of what safety can look like and look forward to continuing our relationship with Safex.” — Ring Container Technologies

Ring Container Technologies needed to improve its lockout-tagout procedure to stay within the OSHA standard for The Control of Hazardous Energy and ensure dangerous machines are properly shut off and unable to be started up again prior to the completion of maintenance or servicing work. An existing partner learned of its need to enhance safety protocols and, based on its own positive experiences, highly recommended Safex’s comprehensive safety services.

After assessing Ring Container Technologies’ safety needs, Safex quickly assembled a support team of certified safety professionals. The support team visited Ring Container Technologies’ facility, analyzed its current lockout-tagout procedure and developed an effective plan of action.

The new lockout-tagout plan proved to be extremely successful in controlling unexpected energization of machines, thereby preventing unnecessary injury. To improve safety management company-wide, Safex helped implement the procedure across several of Ring Container Technologies’ other facilities. Safex also helped Ring Container Technologies with an environmental health and safety (EHS) audit, assessing regulatory compliance within the workplace.
